In Thursday's non-league outing, the Spokane Owls (Spokane, MO) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting New Covenant Academy Warriors (Springfield, MO), by a margin of 58-21.
The Owls (3-5) will now prepare for their outing against Galena (Galena, MO). The Bears go into the Southwest Central outing with a 7-4 record. In their last outing, Galena was trounced by Crane (Crane, MO), 61-31, in a league outing.
The Warriors now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Hurley for a Mark Twain outing on Friday, January 13. New Covenant Academy will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 67-42 non-league loss to Galena (Galena, MO). The Tigers record now stands at 1-3.
