Smith Valley Bulldogs (Smith, NV) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Oasis Academy Bighorns (Fallon, NV), 42-22 in a league bout.

With the victory, Smith Valley upgrades its record to 4-8 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Sierra Lutheran (Carson City, NV) to play the Falcons in a 1A Western bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 5-3. Sierra Lutheran lost 38-32 in their recent league bout against Sage Ridge (Reno, NV)

Next up, the Bighorns play the Sierra Lutheran Falcons (Carson City, NV) in a 1A Western bout, on Friday, January 20. Oasis Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Falcons come into the bout with a 6-3 record after their 28-23 league win over Smith Valley (Smith, NV).
