Viroqua Blackhawks (Viroqua, WI) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Seneca Indians (Seneca, WI), 51-45 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Viroqua upgrades its record to 3-7 on the campaign. The Blackhawks host Black River Falls (Black River Falls, WI) to play the Tigers in a Coulee bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 0-10. Black River Falls lost 59-18 in their recent league bout against Westby (Westby, WI)

Next up, the Indians play the North Crawford Trojans (Soldiers Grove, WI) in a Ridge & Valley bout, on Friday, January 13. Seneca will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record.
