Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC) and the host Albemarle School Colts (Elizabeth City, NC), saw First Flight's basketball squad overcome Albemarle School by a tally of 35-21.

With the victory, First Flight improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Nighthawks host Pasquotank County (Elizabeth City, NC) to confront the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 13. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 1-3. Pasquotank County won 22-16 in their recent non-league challenge against Currituck County (Barco, NC)

Next up, the Colts confront the Holmes Aces (Edenton, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 19. Albemarle School will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Aces come into the challenge with a 3-7 record after their 24-20 non-league win over Albemarle School (Elizabeth City, NC).
