In Thursday's non-league match, the host Goddard Rockets basketball team scored a tight 32-29 triumph over the Moriarty Pintos.
In their next game, the Rockets meet the Silver Fighting Colts (Silver City, NM) in a non-league match, on Saturday, January 14. Goddard will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record. The Fighting Colts enter the match with a 1-2 record after their 23-22 non-league loss to Centennial (Las Cruces, NM).
