In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Lennox Orioles basketball team scored a tight 35-32 triumph over the Vermillion Tanagers.
In their next game, the Orioles meet the West Central Trojans (Hartford, SD) in a non-league match, on Thursday, January 19. Lennox will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record.
With the defeat, Vermillion moves to 2-3 on the year. The Tanagers travel to Elk Point-Jefferson (Elk Point, SD) to meet the Huskies in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 17. The Huskies enter the match with a record of 2-1.
