Peyton Panthers (Peyton, CO) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Salida Spartans (Salida, CO), 29-20 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Peyton upgrades its record to 6-3 on the season. The Panthers host Belleview Christian (Westminster, CO) to play the Bruins in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 14. The Bruins go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Spartans play the Manitou Springs Mustangs (Manitou Springs, CO) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 13. Salida will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
