Curie Condors (Chicago, IL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Kenwood Broncos (Chicago, IL), 62-52 in a league bout.

With the win, Curie upgrades its record to 23-3 on the season. The Condors travel to Benet Academy (Lisle, IL) to play the Redwings in a non-league bout on Monday, January 16. The Redwings go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Broncos play the Perspectives Leadership/Technology Warriors (Chicago, IL) in a bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Kenwood will attempt to upgrade on its 15-4 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 11-7 record after their 44-42 non-league loss to Rich Township (Olympia Fields, IL).
