Virginia High School Basketball - Peninsula Catholic ripped by Norfolk Christian

In Thursday's league match, the visiting Norfolk Christian Ambassadors basketball team scored a decisive 72-47 triumph over the Peninsula Catholic Knights.

In their next game, the Ambassadors meet the StoneBridge Cavaliers (Chesapeake, VA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, January 14. Norfolk Christian will attempt to better on its 7-2 season record. The Cavaliers enter the match with a 0-3 record after their 69-18 league loss to Hampton Christian Academy (Hampton, VA).

With the defeat, Peninsula Catholic moves to 1-6 on the year. The Knights travel to Norfolk Collegiate (Norfolk, VA) to meet the Mighty Oaks in a match on Tuesday, January 17.
