The Phoenix Christian Cougars basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting Phoenix Country Day Eagles to 36 in the Cougars non-league victory on Thursday.

The Cougars now sport a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northland Prep Academy for a contest on Saturday, January 14. Phoenix Christian will battle a Spartans team coming off a 52-17 non-league win over Red Rock (Sedona, AZ). The Spartans record now stands at 5-3.

The Eagles (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Madison Highland Prep (Phoenix, AZ). The Heat come into the contest with a 3-8 record.
