The crowd at Thursday's non-league test between the Amphitheater Panthers (Tucson, AZ) and the host Sahuaro Cougars (Tucson, AZ), saw Amphitheater's soccer squad beat Sahuaro by a count of 5-1.
The Panthers now hold a 7-4 record. They play next when they travel to Douglas for a 4A Gila test on Wednesday, January 18. Amphitheater will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 6-1 non-league loss to Sunnyside (Tucson, AZ). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-6.
With the loss, Sahuaro drops to 2-8 on the season. The Cougars host Empire (Tucson, AZ) to meet the Ravens in a non-league test on Friday, January 13. The Ravens come into the test with a record of 7-6. Empire won 4-0 in their recent league test against Andrada Polytechnic (Tucson, AZ)
