Nebraska High School Basketball - Hitchcock County knocked off by Alma

January 12, 2024: Trenton, NE 69044

The Alma Cardinals basketball team scored 58 points and held the host Hitchcock County Falcons to 44 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cardinals now sport a 13-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Loomis for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 18. Alma will meet a Wolves team coming off a 75-66 non-league loss to Dundy County-Stratton (Benkelman, NE). The Wolves record now stands at 8-7.

The Falcons (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Paxton (Paxton, NE). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 7-5 record. In their last contest, Paxton ran past Wallace (Wallace, NE), 72-46, in a non-league contest.
