The Amherst-Pelham Regional Hurricanes (Amherst, MA) basketball knocked off the visiting West Springfield Terriers (West Springfield, MA), 59-43 in Friday's non-league test.

The Hurricanes (5-5) will now prepare for their test against Longmeadow (Longmeadow, MA). The Lancers go into the non-league test with a 2-9 record.

The Terriers now own a 1-10 record. They play next when they travel to Pittsfield for a Suburban - North test on Friday, January 19. West Springfield will encounter a Generals squad coming off a 67-64 league loss to Agawam (Agawam, MA). The Generals record now stands at 6-5.
