The Barnes Academy Vikings basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the visiting Varsity Opponent to 37 in the Vikings league victory on Friday.

The Vikings now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oconee Christian Academy for a SCISA A Region IV contest on Tuesday, January 16. Barnes Academy will battle a Warriors team coming off a 53-24 league loss to Richard Winn Academy (Winnsboro, SC). The Warriors record now stands at 5-8.

The (249-925) will now prepare for their contest against First Academy (Douglas, GA). The Lions come into the GAPPS - I-A Region 4B contest with a 0-6 record. In their last contest, First Academy was routed by Colquitt Christian Academy (Moultrie, GA), 42-34, in a league contest.
