Bensalem Fighting Owls (Bensalem, PA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Central Bucks South Titans (Warrington, PA), 70-68 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Bensalem upgrades its record to 12-1 on the campaign. The Fighting Owls host Wissahickon (Ambler, PA) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 13. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 4-8. Wissahickon won 71-37 in their recent non-league bout against Central (Philadelphia, PA)

Next up, the Titans play the Penn Wood Patriots (Lansdowne, PA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 13. Central Bucks South will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Patriots come into the bout with a 6-5 record after their 47-41 league win over Chichester (Boothwyn, PA).
