Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Carroll Bulldogs (Monroe, LA) and the host Sterlington Panthers (Sterlington, LA), saw Carroll's basketball squad wallop Sterlington by a count of 80-55.

With the victory, Carroll upgrades its record to 16-6 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Franklin Parish (Winnsboro, LA) to play the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 13. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 16-7. Franklin Parish won 75-41 in their recent league challenge against Grant (Dry Prong, LA)

Next up, the Panthers play the Wossman Wildcats (Monroe, LA) in a 3A District 1 challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Sterlington will attempt to upgrade on its 12-10 season record.
