The Chariho Chargers basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the visiting Times Squared Academy Eagles to 38 in the Chargers league victory on Friday.

The Chargers now sport a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tiverton for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 18. Chariho will battle a Tigers team coming off a 56-36 league loss to Burrillville (Harrisville, RI). The Tigers record now stands at 1-10.

The Eagles (2-8) will now prepare for their contest against Toll Gate (Warwick, RI). The Titans come into the Division 2 contest with a 1-7 record. In their last contest, Toll Gate was defeated by St. Raphael Academy (Pawtucket, RI), 94-34, in a league contest.
