Georgetown Bulldogs (Georgetown, LA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting D'Arbonne Woods (Farmerville, LA), 80-73 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Georgetown upgrades its record to 19-8 on the season. The Bulldogs host Ouachita Christian (Monroe, LA) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 11-11. Ouachita Christian won 69-51 in their recent non-league bout against Family Community Christian (Winnsboro, LA)

Next up, the play the North Caddo Titans (Vivian, LA) in a 2A District 1 bout, on Tuesday, January 16. D'Arbonne Woods will attempt to upgrade on its 9-14 season record. The Titans go into the bout with a 7-12 record after their 73-47 non-league loss to Woodlawn-Shreveport (Shreveport, LA).
