Decatur Eisenhower Panthers (Decatur, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Springfield Senators (Springfield, IL), 47-41 in a league bout.

With the win, Decatur Eisenhower upgrades its record to 6-10 on the season. The Panthers host Charleston (Charleston, IL) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 8-10. Charleston lost 56-29 in their recent league bout against Mt. Zion (Mt. Zion, IL)

Next up, the Senators play the Morton Potters (Morton, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 13. Springfield will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record. The Potters go into the bout with a 18-2 record after their 58-55 non-league win over Washington (Washington, IL).
