Delphi Community Oracles (Delphi, IN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Eastern Comets (Greentown, IN), 44-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Delphi Community upgrades its record to 4-9 on the season. The Oracles travel to Sheridan (Sheridan, IN) to clash with the Blackhawks in a Hoosier Heartland bout on Friday, January 19. The Blackhawks go into the bout with a record of 8-4. Sheridan won 64-48 in their recent non-league bout against North Montgomery (Crawfordsville, IN)

Next up, the Comets clash with the Clinton Prairie Gophers (Frankfort, IN) in a Hoosier Heartland bout, on Friday, January 19. Eastern will attempt to upgrade on its 10-5 season record. The Gophers go into the bout with a 8-2 record after their 68-35 league win over Carroll (Flora, IN).
