The Van Buren Bulldogs basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting East Carter Redbirds to 43 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Friday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lesterville for a Black River contest on Tuesday, January 30.

The Redbirds (6-7) will now prepare for their contest against Neelyville (Neelyville, MO). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 7-6 record.
