The Loyola Cubs basketball team (Los Angeles, CA), was overwhelmed 71-34 in Friday's league battle with the host Harvard-Westlake Wolverines (Studio City, CA)
The Wolverines now possess a 19-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McEachern for a non-league battle on Monday, January 15. Harvard-Westlake will battle a Indians team coming off a 61-59 non-league win over Edmond North (Edmond, OK). The Indians record now stands at 13-4.
The Cubs (12-10) will now prepare for their battle against Alemany (Mission Hills, CA). The Warriors come into the Mission battle with a 10-10 record. In their last battle, Alemany was overwhelmed by Hesperia (Hesperia, CA), 61-54, in a non-league battle.
