Hermitage Panthers (Richmond, VA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Maggie Walker (Richmond, VA), 69-25 in a league bout.

With the win, Hermitage upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Panthers host Thomas Jefferson (Richmond, VA) to clash with the Vikings in a Colonial bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 3-7. Thomas Jefferson lost 53-38 in their recent league bout against Deep Run (Glen Allen, VA)

Next up, the clash with the West Point Pointers (West Point, VA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 18. Maggie Walker will attempt to upgrade on its 0-10 season record.
