Laramie Plainsmen (Laramie, WY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Rawlins Outlaws (Rawlins, WY), 72-65 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Laramie upgrades its record to 9-1 on the season. The Plainsmen host East (Cheyenne, WY) to play the Thunderbirds in a 4A Southeast bout on Wednesday, January 17. The Thunderbirds go into the bout with a record of 11-2. East lost 63-51 in their recent non-league bout against Scottsbluff (Scottsbluff, NE)

Next up, the Outlaws play the Buffalo Bison (Buffalo, WY) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 13. Rawlins will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record.
