The South Border co-op [Wishek/Ashley] Mustangs basketball team (Wishek, ND), was overwhelmed 71-40 in Friday's league battle with the host Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock Lions (Linton, ND)
The Lions now possess a 9-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ellendale for a B District 2 battle on Tuesday, January 16.
The Mustangs (4-7) will now prepare for their battle against LaMoure/Litchville-Marion (LaMoure, ND). The Loboes come into the B District 2 battle with a 5-3 record. In their last battle, LaMoure/Litchville-Marion trounced Strasburg/Zeeland (Strasburg, ND), 61-26, in a league battle.
