The Medina/Pingree-Buchanan basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter Imperials to 51 in the league triumph on Friday.

The now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Warwick for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 16. Medina/Pingree-Buchanan will meet a Warriors team coming off a 74-72 league loss to Mayville-Portland-Clifford-Galesburg (Mayville, ND). The Warriors record now stands at 2-8.

The Imperials (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Oakes (Oakes, ND). The Tornadoes enter the non-league contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Oakes was defeated by Barnes County North co-op [North Central/Wimbledon-Courtenay] (Rogers, ND), 46-44, in a league contest.
