The Normal Community Ironmen (Normal, IL) basketball knocked off the visiting Richwoods Knights (Peoria, IL), 57-49 in Friday's league test.
The Ironmen (16-1) will now prepare for their test against Rockford East (Rockford, IL). The E-Rabs go into the non-league test with a 4-15 record. In their last test, Rockford East went down by Belvidere North (Belvidere, IL), 60-43, in a league test.
The Knights now own a 13-4 record. They play next when they travel to Eastside for a non-league test on Monday, January 15. Richwoods will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 67-50 non-league loss to Metamora (Metamora, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 6-4.
