The Northside Vikings (Lafayette, LA) basketball knocked off the visiting North Central Hurricanes (Lebeau, LA), 70-55 in Friday's non-league test.
The Vikings (10-10) will now prepare for their test against Booker T. Washington (New Orleans, LA). The Lions go into the non-league test with a 6-15 record. In their last test, Booker T. Washington went down by Kennedy (New Orleans, LA), 67-63, in a non-league outing.
The Hurricanes now own a 12-8 record. They play next when they host St. Edmund for a 1A District 6 outing on Tuesday, January 16.
