The Parkers Prairie Panthers basketball team (Parkers Prairie, MN), was overwhelmed 68-35 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Upsala Cardinals (Upsala, MN)

The Cardinals now possess a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Long Prairie-Grey Eagle for a A Section 5 battle on Tuesday, January 16. Upsala will confront a Thunder team coming off a 63-53 league loss to Swanville (Swanville, MN). The Thunder record now stands at 2-10.

The Panthers (6-6) will now prepare for their battle against Rothsay (Rothsay, MN). The Tigers come into the A Section 6 battle with a 2-7 record. In their last battle, Rothsay was overwhelmed by Hillcrest Lutheran Academy (Fergus Falls, MN), 68-38, in a league battle.
