The Watonga Eagles basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting Perry Maroons to 48 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.
The Eagles now sport a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Crescent for a Three Rivers contest on Tuesday, January 16. Watonga will battle a Tigers team coming off a 70-68 non-league win over Garber (Garber, OK). The Tigers record now stands at 8-6.
The Maroons (3-10) will now prepare for their contest against Frontier (Red Rock, OK). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 12-4 record. In their last contest, Frontier was defeated by Riverside Indian (Anadarko, OK), 80-66, in a non-league contest.
