Two Harbors Agates (Two Harbors, MN) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host South Ridge Panthers (Culver, MN), 78-43 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Two Harbors upgrades its record to 7-5 on the campaign. The Agates host Crosby-Ironton (Crosby, MN) to play the Rangers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 13. The Rangers come into the bout with a record of 11-0. Crosby-Ironton won 81-54 in their recent league bout against Greenway (Coleraine, MN)

Next up, the Panthers play the Chisholm Bluestreaks (Chisholm, MN) in a A Section 7 bout, on Tuesday, January 16. South Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record. The Bluestreaks come into the bout with a 8-7 record after their 75-42 non-league win over Mesabi East (Aurora, MN).
