Trinity Christian Tigers (Greenville, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Victory Christian Eagles (Elizabeth City, NC), 71-55 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Trinity Christian upgrades its record to 11-6 on the campaign. The Tigers host Christ Covenant (Winterville, NC) to play the Spartan in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Spartan come into the bout with a record of 3-4. Christ Covenant won 54-39 in their recent non-league bout against Northeast Academy (Lasker, NC)

Next up, the Eagles play the Bethel Assembly Christian Academy Eagles (Windsor, NC) in a Mid-Atlantic Christian - 1A North bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Victory Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 1-13 record after their 53-25 league loss to Suffolk Christian Academy (Suffolk, VA).
