In Friday's non-league match, the host Woodgrove Wolverines basketball team scored a good 56-48 triumph over the Rock Ridge Phoenix.
In their next game, the Wolverines meet the John Champe Knights (Aldie, VA) in a match, on Tuesday, January 16. Woodgrove will attempt to better on its 4-7 season record. The Knights enter the match with a 0-2 record after their 66-29 non-league loss to Potomac Falls (Sterling, VA).
With the defeat, Rock Ridge moves to 0-2 on the year.
