Texas High School Basketball - Clint routs Anthony

January 12, 2024: Clint, TX 79836

In Friday's non-league outing, the Clint Lions (Clint, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Anthony Wildcats (Anthony, TX), by a count of 68-37.

The Lions (13-8) will now prepare for their outing against Mountain View (El Paso, TX). The Lobos go into the 4A Region I District 2 outing with a 14-7 record.

The Wildcats now hold a 11-10 record. They play next when they host Fort Hancock for a 2A Region I District 6 outing on Tuesday, January 16. Anthony will clash with a Mustangs squad coming off a 53-28 non-league win over Chaparral (Chaparral, NM). The Mustangs record now stands at 15-5.
