    • Nebraska High School Basketball - Central nips Scottsbluff

    January 12, 2024: Scottsbluff, NE 69361

    Central Indians (Cheyenne, WY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Scottsbluff Bearcats (Scottsbluff, NE), 61-59 in a non-league bout.

    With the win, Central upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Indians travel to South (Cheyenne, WY) to play the Bison in a 4A Southeast bout on Wednesday, January 17. The Bison go into the bout with a record of 4-5.

    Next up, the Bearcats play the East Thunderbirds (Cheyenne, WY) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 13. Scottsbluff will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Thunderbirds go into the bout with a 10-2 record after their 55-30 non-league win over Riverton (Riverton, WY).
