Oregon High School Basketball - Philomath can't hold off Corvallis

The Corvallis Spartans basketball team scored 46 points and held the visiting Philomath Warriors to 42 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Friday.
The Spartans now sport a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Silverton for a 5A Mid-Willamette contest on Monday, January 15. Corvallis will battle a Foxes team coming off a 73-45 league win over West Albany (Albany, OR). The Foxes record now stands at 8-3.
The Warriors (9-3) will now prepare for their contest against Madras (Madras, OR). The White Buffaloes enter the non-league contest with a 7-5 record.
