With the victory, Northeast improves its record to 8-6 on the campaign. The Hurricanes host Mater Lakes Academy (Miami, FL) to play the Bears in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 13. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 6-8. Mater Lakes Academy lost 47-40 in their recent non-league challenge against Central Florida Christian Academy (Ocoee, FL)

Next up, the Gators play the Coconut Creek Cougars (Coconut Creek, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 18. Everglades will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record.
