Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Yorba Linda Mustangs (Yorba Linda, CA) and the host Foothill Knights (Santa Ana, CA), saw Yorba Linda's basketball squad overcome Foothill by a tally of 53-33.

With the victory, Yorba Linda improves its record to 11-8 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Canyon (Anaheim, CA) to play the Comanches in a North Hills challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Comanches come into the challenge with a record of 13-7. Canyon won 69-62 in their recent non-league challenge against Silverado (Victorville, CA)

Next up, the Knights play the El Dorado Golden Hawks (Placentia, CA) in a Crestview challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Foothill will attempt to improve on its 5-15 season record.
