Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Huntington Raiders (Shreveport, LA) and the visiting Gibsland-Coleman Bulldogs (Gibsland, LA), saw Huntington's basketball squad wallop Gibsland-Coleman by a count of 89-33.

With the victory, Huntington upgrades its record to 19-5 on the campaign. The Raiders host North DeSoto (Stonewall, LA) to play the Griffins in a 4A District 1 challenge on Friday, January 19. The Griffins come into the challenge with a record of 14-6.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Simsboro Tigers (Simsboro, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Gibsland-Coleman will attempt to upgrade on its 7-12 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 14-7 record after their 25-21 non-league loss to West Ouachita (West Monroe, LA).
