The Grace M. James Academy of Excellence GEMS basketball team scored 59 points and held the host Moore Mustangs to 43 in the GEMS non-league triumph on Friday.

The GEMS now sport a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Louisville Collegiate for a non-league contest on Monday, January 15.

The Mustangs (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Bullitt East (Mt. Washington, KY). The Chargers enter the non-league contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, Bullitt East was outscored by Daviess County (Owensboro, KY), 42-38, in a non-league contest.
