Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Kearsarge Cougars (North Sutton, NH) and the visiting Newfound Regional Bears (Bristol, NH), saw Kearsarge's basketball squad wallop Newfound Regional by a tally of 58-25.

With the victory, Kearsarge improves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Stevens (Claremont, NH) to play the Cardinals in a Division III challenge on Wednesday, January 17. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 6-3. Stevens lost 44-33 in their recent league challenge against Gilford (Gilford, NH)

Next up, the Bears play the Belmont Red Raiders (Belmont, NH) in a Division III challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Newfound Regional will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record.
