In Friday's non-league outing, the Lacey Township Lions (Lanoka Harbor, NJ) basketball squad felled the host Raritan Rockets (Hazlet, NJ), by a margin of 41-30.
The Lions (5-6) will now prepare for their outing against Southern Regional (Manahawkin, NJ). The Rams go into the Shore A - South outing with a 8-3 record. In their last outing, Southern Regional thwarted Manalapan (Englishtown, NJ), 55-27, in a non-league outing.
The Rockets now own a 2-9 record. They play next when they travel to Manasquan for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 16. Raritan will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 42-41 non-league loss to Red Bank Regional (Little Silver, NJ). The Warriors record now stands at 11-2.
