The Linganore Lancers basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the host Middletown Knights to 40 in the Lancers league victory on Friday.

The Lancers now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Catoctin for a Central Maryland contest on Tuesday, January 16. Linganore will battle a Cougars team coming off a 40-32 non-league win over South Carroll (Sykesville, MD). The Cougars record now stands at 11-1.

The Knights (8-3) will now prepare for their contest against Oakdale (Ijamsville, MD). The come into the Central Maryland contest with a 8-4 record. In their last contest, Oakdale prevailed over Walkersville (Walkersville, MD), 51-37, in a league contest.
