In Friday's league outing, the Squalicum Storm (Bellingham, WA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Mt. Baker Mountaineers (Deming, WA), by a margin of 66-33.

The Storm (5-3) will now prepare for their outing against Sedro-Woolley (Sedro-Woolley, WA). The Cubs go into the 1A/2A/3A Northwest outing with a 2-3 record. In their last outing, Sedro-Woolley was trounced by Sehome (Bellingham, WA), 67-30, in a league outing.

The Mountaineers now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they host Blaine for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest outing on Monday, January 15. Mt. Baker will clash with a Borderites squad coming off a 61-17 league loss to Lynden (Lynden, WA). The Borderites record now stands at 2-4.
