Ohio High School Basketball - Newark can't hold off Pickerington North

The Pickerington North Panthers basketball team scored 50 points and held the host Newark Wildcats to 48 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Panthers now sport a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Thurgood Marshall for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 13. Pickerington North will battle a Cougars team coming off a 87-66 league win over Belmont (Dayton, OH). The Cougars record now stands at 8-6.
The Wildcats (7-7) will now prepare for their contest against Wayne (Huber Heights, OH). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 7-8 record. In their last contest, Wayne nudged Northmont (Clayton, OH), 71-40, in a league contest.
