Louisiana High School Basketball - River Oaks nudges West Side Christian

In Friday's non-league outing, the River Oaks Mustangs (Monroe, LA) basketball squad edged the visiting West Side Christian Warriors (El Dorado, AR), by a margin of 45-41.

The Mustangs (13-11) will now prepare for their outing against Porter's Chapel Academy (Vicksburg, MS). The Eagles go into the MAIS 3A District 4 outing with a 3-0 record. In their last outing, Porter's Chapel Academy held off Hillcrest Christian (Jackson, MS), 74-33, in a league outing.

The Warriors now own a 15-4 record. They play next when they travel to Columbia Christian for a Heartland Christian outing on Tuesday, January 16. West Side Christian will clash with a Crusaders squad coming off a 54-16 league loss to Legacy Academy (Lockesburg, AR). The Crusaders record now stands at 3-19.
