Novato Hornets (Novato, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Tamalpais Red Tailed Hawks (Mill Valley, CA), 29-24 in a league bout.

With the win, Novato upgrades its record to 7-4 on the season. The Hornets host Fortuna (Fortuna, CA) to play the Huskies in a non-league bout on Monday, January 15. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 1-0.

Next up, the Red Tailed Hawks play the San Rafael Bulldogs (San Rafael, CA) in a bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Tamalpais will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record.
