Borger Bulldogs (Borger, TX) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Lake View Chiefs (San Angelo, TX), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs face the Caprock Longhorns (Amarillo, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Borger will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record. The Longhorns enter the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Dumas (Dumas, TX).

The Chiefs now have a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pampa for a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 13. Lake View will face a Harvesters team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Snyder (Snyder, TX). The Harvesters record now stands at 0-6.
