The crowd at Friday's non-league test between the Salado Eagles (Salado, TX) and the host Eastern Hills Highlanders (Fort Worth, TX), saw Salado's soccer squad triumph over Eastern Hills by a margin of 8-0.
The Eagles now sport a 8-0 record. They play next when they travel to Chaparral for a non-league test on Thursday, January 18. Salado will meet a Bobcats squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Gateway College Preparatory (Georgetown, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 1-5.
With the loss, Eastern Hills drops to 0-3 on the season. The Highlanders host Dunbar (Fort Worth, TX) to meet the Wildcats in a 4A Region 1 District 7 test on Tuesday, January 30. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 0-4.
