Burrillville Broncos (Harrisville, RI) followers left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their ice hockey team nip the visiting Pilgrim Patriots (Warwick, RI), 2-1 in a league match.
The Broncos (5-4) will now prepare for their match against Prout (Wakefield, RI). The Crusaders enter the State Championship Division match with a 13-0 record. In their last match, Prout tipped Bishop Hendricken (Warwick, RI), 4-2, in a league match.
Next up, the Patriots clash with the Woodstock Academy Centaurs (Woodstock, CT) in a non-league match, on Monday, January 15. Pilgrim will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record.
